tea and coffee
Stepping into the world of Nepali tea, where every cup promises a sensory journey like no other. ACP takes pride in promoting two exceptional varieties - Green Tea and Orthodox Black Tea, both born amidst the majestic foothills of Mt. Kanchenjunga, flourishing at altitudes ranging from 6000 ft. to 6500 ft. in the serene embrace of Sakhejung.
Our Green Tea, a delightful spectacle of tightly curled leaves, is plucked with precision and undergoes a meticulous drying process immediately after harvest. This swift action prevents any unwanted enzymatic reactions, preserving the leaf's natural biochemical composition. As a result, the Green Tea retains a treasure trove of health-benefiting elements, waiting to infuse your cup with goodness. On the other hand, the journey of our Orthodox Black Tea is an artful dance of complexity. Each leaf experiences a carefully choreographed series of steps - withering for a patient 14-20 hours, rolling gracefully on a rolling table, and undergoing a transformative fermentation process on the floor or rack. Finally, it meets the fiery embrace of a drier, emerging as a bold and rich infusion, ready to enchant the senses.
But the story doesn't end with tea alone. Nepali Arabic coffee, nurtured with love and dedication by small-holding farmers, thrives above 800 meters up to 1500 meters above sea level. Organic, sustainable, and eco-friendly practices imbue every coffee cherry with the essence of purity.
The cherries, like gems of the harvest, are selectively hand-picked at their ripest moment and promptly pulped using a gentle hand pulper, ensuring the finest wet processing of coffee. Nestled at the foothills of the Himalayas, our coffee beans are blessed with an intangible quality - the caress of natural fresh air descending from the lofty mountains. This breath of nature lends our coffee its distinct character, setting it apart from any other brew in the world.
